IMA AZ VALLEY OF THE SUN [PARENT CHAPTER]

Founded in 1964 and 1969 respectively, the Phoenix and Scottsdale Chapters merged in 2002 to become the current IMA Arizona Valley of the Sun chapter. Since then, the chapter has won numerous awards, including their recent #2 rank in the IMA Global Chapter Competition. As of August 2014, the chapter has over 500 members consisting of accounting and finance professionals, retired professionals, and students.

Founded in 1919, IMA’s mission is to provide a forum for research, practice development, education, knowledge sharing, and the advocacy of the highest ethical and best business practices in management accounting and finance. With over 300 chapters nationwide and internationally in cities such as Beijing, Cairo, Dubai, Shanghai, and Zurich, IMA continues to expand its network to better serve its members exclusively within the management accounting profession.
